Say hello to The Core Rising practitioners.
We are so grateful you are here. The one thing that bonds us as a team is that we embody the work that we teach, and we always will. We have landed in this space of somatic facilitation because we sought it out ourselves to support our own healing. That embodied experience fuels a passion that cannot be put out.
Know that as you explore this page and get to know who we are, that there is also a lot you don’t see. There are countless hours of dedicated practice, studying and transforming behind these words and photos. And more than anything, we want you to know that you are not alone. Your experience is unique and yet we can relate to how it has made you feel.
We see you, and we’re excited to hold space for you.Â
Maggie Hayes
Bio: Maggie Hayes is a somatic practitioner, author, and founder of The Core Rising, an ecosystem of programs designed to help people move beyond survival patterns and into grounded, coherent, purpose-led lives.
Through her signature membership The Drop, Maggie guides individuals through nervous system rewiring, psychosomatic healing, and identity transformation — helping them cultivate stability, self-trust, and agency from the inside out.
She is also the creator of The Core Rising Teacher Training, a somatic practitioner certification for space holders, coaches, and guides who want to master trauma-informed facilitation, embodied coaching, and the business foundations that sustain meaningful work. Her training merges somatic technique, nervous system science, and deep relational attunement to elevate the quality and integrity of support available in the healing and coaching industries.
Maggie’s work blends lived experience, precise nervous system education, and a grounded approach to transformation that resonates with those who crave depth, clarity, and lasting change. She is a trauma-trained, certified Mind-Body Coach with an extensive background in anatomy, trauma physiology, parts therapy and yoga.
Her first book — a guidebook on somatic healing that weaves together her core frameworks, tools, and personal narrative — will be published in 2027.
Her mission is to help people remember their capacity, claim their purpose, and create lives built on regulation, coherence, and truth.
Story: My “healing journey” really began in 2012 - when I was tired of feeling like a mess, and not in control of my life. Throughout the following 10+ years I would shift from a career in media + politics into yoga + somatic healing, unpack repressed memories of childhood trauma, commit deeply to my recovery, and completely change all aspects of my life.. multiple times! Every single step I have taken has brought me into closer, more intimate connection with the Truth, with My Truth, with a deeply rooted sense of safety within myself, with the capacity to fully express and embrace all that I am… and with a burning desire to share this work with the world. Â

Masha Pilipenko
Bio: Masha is a certified Somatic Coach and Breathwork Facilitator. Her sessions weave together various somatic modalities, parts work, inner child healing as well as energy healing and intuitive guidance, and provide space for transformative clarity, deepened self-attunement and an expanded sense of internal safety.
Story: I set out on the path of holistic healing and wellness as the result of facing a profound crisis of meaning a number of years ago. This point of rupture - which turned out to be a life-changing invitation to journey inwards - led me to leave behind a career in the non-profit (together with pretty much my entire life) and devote all my energy to the exploration of my own self through a variety of healing traditions, methods, and practices that I am now using to support others in their journeys.
My central belief is that deep down, we know. We know what we need, what we want, who we are and who we aren’t, what’s aligned, what no longer is and why. Guiding first, myself, and then my clients towards this pure, deeper knowing has become my personal mission and the central point of my practice. I believe whole-heartedly that there is no limit to what we can create of our lives and the ways in which we can experience and express our essence.

Lauren Dike
Bio: Lauren is a certified Somatic Coach and Performance Consultant. She blends neurological tools, bodywork, breathwork, and experiential meditation to help high-achieving, overfunctioning women reconnect with their authentic, self-healing Self.
As an organizational consultant, she partners with companies to embed nervous system science into culture — strengthening psychological safety, reducing burnout, and improving retention.
She specializes in supporting Black women, who experience the highest wear and tear of stress at the intersection of sexism, racism, and anti-Blackness. Lauren brings a trauma-informed Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion lens to all of her work, believing that we all make sense — and that trauma deserves to be normalized in a world moving far too fast.
Story:Â My anxiety began at age 7, when I lay awake in bed one summer night, consumed by thoughts of death. My body shook with sweats and stomach pains, and when I asked my family what happens when we die, they laughed and brushed me off. That was the first time I felt utterly alone in terror -- and that aloneness became the foundation of my trauma.Â
From there, I learned to survive through suppression, perfectionism and overachieving. As both the only Black child in my classrooms and a daughter in a home where emotional safety wasn't modeled, I carried a cycle of anxiety, shame and collapse for decades. It showed up everywhere: nervous ticks, eating disorders, self-sabotage, toxic workplace and people pleasing. When I lost both of my parents within seven years, the weight of everything I had been carring finally broke me open. Talk therapy gave me words, but not relief; medication gave me side effects without healing. What changed my life was somatic work -- learning to listen to my body, unblend from protective patterns, and find safety within myself. This practice didn't just ease my symptoms, it gave me back me. Now, I help others do the same: return to their bodies, metabolize stress and trauma, and lead from their authentic, Self-led selves.

Titta Pennanen
Bio: Titta is an ICF-certified somatic coach specialising in the female nervous system. With 5+ years of experience in guiding and facilitating, she’s worked in different fields such as somatics, energy work, mindfulness and women’s work.Â
Today, she guides women in restoring their relationship with their bodies, emotions, monthly cycle, and natural rhythms. Through an approach that centers your female nervous system and physiology, she helps you connect with your inner resources and inner aliveness—aliveness that’s available to you already now, not only then when you are “fully healed”. From there, any needed healing and transformation can start to safely and naturally unfold for you.Â
She also believes that we all have our own unique somatic wisdom and intuition. Her mission with her work is to help you discover yours, so you can become the resourced, empowered woman you were always meant to be.
Story: I didn’t always feel at home in my body as a woman. For a big part of my youth, I was disconnected from myself. I felt resentment for my body for having a monthly cycle, for the discomfort, shame and pain it caused. I tried to hide my womanhood—my sensitive nature, my emotions, even my appreciation for beauty or how much connection I needed with others. This created a state of resistance in my system, which didn’t only feel exhausting, but it was also a source for different physical symptoms every month.Â
Then, some years ago, I felt the urge to connect more with my body’s rhythms. Slowly, I started learning how to live in sync with my cycle and create a more loving relationship with my body. I became gentler with myself. I started working towards self-acceptance and meeting myself fully, in all of my emotions. Through my gentleness I found my way back to my fire as well. The sense of resistance eased up and my nervous system began to feel safer. Many symptoms disappeared, and I started feeling a new kind of balance in my life. For the first time in my life, I loved the experience of being a woman. I had come to a place where I could call myself a resourced woman who’s in tune with her body and cycle.Â
I realised that no matter how disconnected I had felt before, there had always been a part of me that knew. A part that was deeply connected and alive. And I didn’t need to be fully healed to access that part. I just needed to find the right resources and support to access it. I believe that this connected, alive and resourced woman lives in each of us, and I wish every one of us knew that we don’t need to be fully healed to access this part of ourselves—our aliveness is already in us, waiting to be reclaimed.Â
And the important part is, there will never be “fully healed”. There will always be parts of life that will feel messy. We can’t escape hardships or difficult emotions. What the female nervous system work does is, it gives us those inner resources to go through life in its fullness. It equips us with the right tools to face those parts of ourselves that feel challenging. It reminds us that we are allowed to feel alive in our bodies, even in the midst of healing from trauma or stress.

Anh Chau
Bio:Â Anh Chau is a certified trauma-informed somatic practitioner, total well-being coach, and intuitive guide devoted to bridging science and sacredness. Through somatic work and embodied ritual, she helps women cultivate their inner sanctuary in body and mind, release the patterns of survival, and remember who they are beneath who they thought they needed to be. Her work is an invitation to embody the quiet joy of being truly human and truly divine.Â
Integrating somatic healing and sacred ritual for whole-being transformation.
Story:Â My life changed when my father was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer and passed away a month later.Â
Grief became my portal to truth.
It was the emotion that cracked me open.Â
The force that unearthed everything I had buried to survive: the fears, the words left unsaid, the emotions trapped in my cells.Â
Grief stripped away the illusions I had built to stay safe. It showed me how much of my life had been shaped by performance, by following the herd, by playing small, by trying to be palatable.
I went deep into my healing, and somatic work became the bridge that brought me home to myself. It helped me cultivate the inner safety to be who I am meant to be in this lifetime. It taught me to meet every part of me — the one that hid, the one that hustled, the one that feared being too much with compassion and curiosity.
For so long, I abandoned myself without even knowing it. Now, I have built a life that feels true for me, a life of embodied dreams and quiet joy.
Somatic work gave me my life and my voice back.
My mission is to help others cultivate their own inner sanctuary — to remember what it feels like to be safe inside their own body — to live freely and truly.
